Beginner Fitness Junkie usually goes by Angela. She’s a full-time copy editor and writer–which means she’s spent an awful lot of the last five or so years sitting on her butt. But she’s in her late 20s, and all that sitting around is starting to catch up to her. So the cardiophobe is finally starting get into shape. At least, she’s going to try.
However, she has absolutely no intention of giving up any of her favorite foods, even though they’re probably not the healthiest choices. She does eat well occasionally–she loves chicken and fish, and especially salads–but her favorite foods are usually along the line of burgers, steaks, Mexican food, pastas, anything covered in cheese…you get the idea.
She has weekly weigh-ins on Sundays to see if her new level of activity is making a difference. Stop by a few times a week to see how she’s doing. While you’re here, don’t forget to say hi or share a favorite workout tip (or gym horror story!).
Beginner Fitness Junkie would also like to point out that she is in NO WAY a physician, nutritionist, or fitness expert. If you’re looking for an expert’s opinion on how to get in shape, you’re in the wrong place. She’s just a girl trying to shed a few pounds and find more energy, and she’d love to make some friends along the way.
